Hilton realises link between loyalty and e-learning

International hotel chain Hilton Hotels has proved a direct link between investing in e-learning and as a result, improved staff retention.
The findings from an online survey conducted in May by in-house training division Hilton University, highlighted that giving staff the opportunity to develop their skill-set through the Hilton online learning platform, and encouraged the employees to remain loyal. Hilton employs 150 000 people world-wide and surveyed 1 500. The survey found 40% feel that the opportunity to develop their skills was the main factor for continuing their career at Hilton. More...
