City to become living classroom in new course

Public school students may get to use the city as their open air classroom with a new course proposed through the Yale New Haven Teachers Institute. The Institute offers Yale professors the opportunity to work with city teachers to develop state of the art curriculum for students. The teachers range from kindergarten to twelfth grade, although the institute has typically focused on courses for students in upper grades.
