How to make sure your virtual degree is worth the price

In 2003, more than 1 million e-learning students in the nation took college-level courses at home on their personal PC or laptop. It has taken a decade or so, but most online degree programs these days aren't seen as any more or less beneficial to students or to employers (who may be paying for these classes). So how do you choose a topnotch program?
First, it may be best to discover if you are truly suited to this kind of education. "Many online students are juggling work, raising a family and school; sometimes, the only time they have to work on assignments or to participate in online discussions is late at night or early in the morning," says Tom Green, National University's business and management school dean.
