Financial Times: E-learning at Cisco's college

The computer services group has developed a system of employee training and development that leans heavily on the web. As a result, Cisco University is less a traditional educational institution than a virtual environment in which staff manage their own professional development via e-learning.
While some courses are taught in the classroom, most are available through the Cisco University intranet, which offers training in formats that range from simple text to video and audio material and interactive modules.
